Everything that has a beginning, has an end
Well, we've had a good run.
Two years ago, myself and some friends started 16bit Radio. It was an extension of what he already been doing over at my other blog, Incoming Pull. The focus was primarily on a weekly live radio show, supplemented with written opinion and news event.
But it's with a heavy heart that I report that are saying goodnight to 16bit Radio.
To be quite honest, the site never picked up the audience that I had hoped that it would. It wasn't for lack of trying ;)
16bit Radio started two years ago and Incoming Pull began more than three years ago. I've went from running a blog where I solely wrote about Warhammer Online to a blog that covered other mmos and news — at which I managed a team of seven writers — to a fledged out radio show with ranging topics week in and week out.
To those who've stuck with us over the years, thank you.
Also, a big thank you to Kris. Without him, there would be no website, no upload server and no 16bit Radio.
Nate and Rob, thanks for coming over each week and letting me ramble on about my hobby.
While this marks the end of the 16bit Radio era, I don't consider that this little experiment to gain a strong audience failed. In fact, I've gotten to use my journalism background to do things like interview video game developers, such as Bill Roper, as well as brilliant musicians like Christopher "Mazedude" Getman. Without this blog, I wouldn't have gotten this chance.
I don't want to forget all of our affiliates. Thanks, guys.
But before I end this ramble, I want to thank the guys over at UltraWorld Radio for allowing us to use their airwaves each week to bring our listeners a live show.
I guess that's about it. I'm still writing, but it's over at The Poison Mushroom. It's a site where I write about fake video game news, sort of like the Onion for gaming. Be nice and come visit me.
And who knows, maybe we'll return to the airwaves again sometime. Game on, mates.

Time for a change
I'm currently playing Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Revelations and I can't quite shake the feeling that it feels like it's a job that I have to complete. It's not that it's a bad game, it's just that it's the same game I've been playing for three years now.
